Katherine Harford

Counsellor & Psychotherapist
BA(Hons), PG Dip Psych, MA

I am a qualified psychotherapist with experience of working with a wide range of presentations. Building a strong therapeutic relationship is at the heart of my practice. I aim to provide a unique, safe space where clients can begin to articulate, experience and process their emotions and feelings. I offer an environment for clients to explore areas in their lives where they are feeling stuck in negative patterns which they would like to change. My aim is to support clients to become more aware about 'why they do what they do' so enabling them to make more empowered choices for their lives.

My Practice

Person Centred, Humanistic, Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

My approach is non-judgemental and empathic. As such, I like to work collaboratively with my clients, providing a tailored approach to meet each individual, drawing on a range of therapeutic models and practical tools to serve them both now and in the future.
